Vampire Librarian
- I work at Library X, an undergraduate library at University Z. Library X is open 24hrs a day, 5 days a week. Once upon a time, I worked the 4pm-1am shift and before that I worked 12am-8am. Now I work days, but the moniker remains.

Inexplicable:
What the student really meant to say was 'ethernet cord'. Ethanol cords though sound intriguing to me, and I would like to try one out strictly for research purposes, of course.

Thanks for the holiday well wishes. Sadly, I had to work Sunday (and Monday), but my parents did bring me a home cooked meal. Yes, I am spoilt.
Katya, I'm glad you got a good belly laugh from this.
Ethernet cords sound just as bizarre. I'm such a technological dunce : )
